Time to play in the snow yet??

It finally snowed. And I don't mean just a little covering, I'm talkin 10 1/2 inches! I begged mom to bundle me up and take me out to play. It was a little cold out but I didn't care cause... I love snow!
I also had lots of fun on a slide that mom and grandma set up. I thought we should have left it there forever but I was outnumbered.

Thanksgiving

I know I have been slacking on the update but there has been so much going on! Mom and I keep trading getting sick. But we are both well for now. Grandma Ninee flew in for Thanksgiving. We had such a nice visit. We all sat around and ate lots of food. Mom thought it was funny to put my hair in a ponytail. I'm not so sure.
I also got to play in the first snowfall. I can't wait until I can throw snowballs at my mom!

Halloween 07

I celebrated my first Halloween the other day. It seemed just like any other day except everyone at school was dressed in strange clothing. Mom and dad came to school to hang out for a while. Mom dressed me up as Donald Trump. I've never met him but I hear we have similar hair. I took charge in our daily baby meeting, Trump-style.
Lily was dressed up too. I think she was some kind of asian cheerleader or something. I'll have to ask her. She did look pretty though.

Happy Birthday Great Grandma!

The whole family flew to Texas a couple weeks ago for my great grandma's 90th birthday! Whoa, 90?! And I thought 9 months was long! I also got to meet the newest member of the clan, Broderick, aka Brody. I was the tiniest bit jealous that he was so popular. But I guess I was too. I finally got to meet my uncle Daniel. I knew we'd get along great. They have fun toys to play on in Texas. Mom and Aunt Sarah were really happy to see Uncle Daniel and I guess Lily and I were too. It's great to be with family.

We went to a pumpkin farm on Saturday with Desiree and Jeff. There was so much to do! I got my face painted. It really tickled. I pretended to drive a tractor. I got to see baby farm animals and then mom and I became some! I know, I know... I'm a little piggy. Desiree, Jeff and Mom got lost in the corn maze, but I showed them how to get out.
And, I can't forget about the pumpkins. There were so many pumpkins. Some were almost as big as me!
It's amazing how tiring pumpkins can be!

Friday night mom and I slept over at Lily and Aunt Sarah's house. It was fun to play in Lily's crib but after a while we wanted to get OUT and run around!

So Long Summer

So much has happened! I'm in a new daycare; the same one that Lily goes to! I really like it there. Lily and I aren't in the same room but sometimes we see each other in the hallway.
I always have fun with Uncle James but I got to play with a new friend last weekend, Liam. He may be smaller than me but he sure is loud! He even made me cry, but don't tell anyone.
The big news... I can crawl and climb on everything. With my newly discovered mobility I can get pretty tired. And I have 2 teeth! Look out solid food :)
I can't wait for next summer, I'll be able to walk, finally!

Another wedding...

It seems like mom keeps dragging me to all these weddings. This one was fun cause we got to stay in a hotel with 3 different kinds of pools! There was a shallow one just my size! Mom and I got all fancied up to go see Kelly all fancied up too. I even met another little boy with my name; can you believe it?! But he spelled his Kieran. Okay, I'll admit it, weddings can be fun.

Beach Bum

That's me and Beth sitting by the waves of Lake Michigan. Mom and I went to Michigan this weekend with Beth and her family. We hung out on the beach all day but I didn't get sunburnt like mom cause I got to sit in my own little beach hut. I did go swimming and I loved it! I didn't have to worry about any salt in the water here like in Florida.
There were other kids to play with but my favorite was Sofia, Beth's niece. We had fun together. Everyone loved to play with me. I was popular. So now we are home again but mom tells me we are going on another trip next weekend. I love summer...

Last weekend was grandpa's birthday and we celebrated in Millenium Park. I met Matthieu and Aurelie. They were visiting from Paris. I can't wait to visit them sometime. They were telling me all about it and I think I would like it there! There are more pictures on Lily's site.
This weekend was the block party on grandma and grandpa's street. There was so much to do! First, Lily and I went swimming. Then grandpa and I got to climb on a real, live firetruck!! Maybe I want to be a fireman when I grow up.
There were kids everywhere and music and mom let me stay up past my bedtime! It was a fun day.

Off to daycare

It was my first day of school yesterday. I guess it's not technically school but I am learning new things and I get to drool with the other babies. I'm making new friends and I'm already popular with the older women, just like my dad.
I went swimming with Aunt Sarah and Lily at great aunt Alice's house. We'll have to do that again. Other than that, I haven't been up to much else except keeping my mom busy. But we are never too busy to pose for a glamour shot.

Surf and Turf and Grandma!!

Mom and Dad and I took a trip to Florida so I could meet my Grandma Jeannine and Aunt Joanne!! They are the best. They gave me these sweet sunglasses. We had so much fun together. And grandma helped me show everyone how big I am getting.

I dressed up for dad on father's day and put on my best tie. He took me into the ocean for the first time and mom and I enjoyed the sunset on the beach.

I didn't want to go home but I sure was worn out from all the fun I had. I can't wait to visit again!

Avocado?

I've really been enjoying eating with a spoon so mom thought she'd try to give me something new. I was excited but once that green mush hit my tongue my excitement dwindled. I'm not too sure about this green stuff.

While mom is getting my dinner ready I like to keep her on her toes so I switch from happy to sad in seconds!

Spoon!

This is great. I can eat with a spoon now, sorta. It mostly runs down my face but I like it. I can't wait to see what mom will feed me next.

It was a nice weekend. I got to hang with my dad, literally. I did go to the doctor for more shots which I hate so mom kept me close to snuggle cause I was a little sad.

Aunt Sarah got Lily and me so excited about some parade. We had to go and check it out. We were waiting and waiting but it finally came.

Lily and I have so much fun together. We went to the park and she showed me how much fun it is to swing. We both got dressed up to cheer on the Sox when they played the Cubs. It worked too. They won that game!

Speaking of getting dressed up... my mom put me in this ridiculous outfit.

Some people have been asking if I get any help with this blog. The secret is out. I do get a little help sitting at the computer.

My first plane ride.

Mom and grandma and I went on a trip to Texas, on a plane! It was fun. The flight attendants loved me cause I'm cute and I didn't cry.

I met my other great grandma. She is super nice. We were four generations together. They dressed me in a special outfit to make my cousins and uncles happy. I'm not so sure about those funny little shorts but it was hot there so I guess it's okay. My cousin Taylor played with me for a long time.

I like this travelling stuff but it's nice to be home. I missed my grandpa.

I'm 100 today

That's right. I am 100 days old today. I'm in the triple digits! I'll probably have just as little hair and the same number of teeth when I turn 100 years old.
Last weekend was so nice. Mom and I were outside all weekend. We played in the grass and I showed her all the bugs I found. There's always a camera in my face, even when I'm trying to relax in the shade. Aunt Sarah, uncle James and Lily slept over on Saturday. That was super fun. I'm trying hard to catch up to Lily so I'm working on rolling over. Hey, it's a start.

Where is the Easter bunny?

It's my first Easter. It was fun. Lily came over and was showing off again. Not only can she move her hands where she wants but now she can walk! I'm jealous. At least I could sit in this chair without too much help. I had to dress up again and was feeling a little unsure about it all but grandpa made me feel much better. It was a good day.

It's baseball season!!

My mom is all excited cause it's baseball season again. We got dressed up to cheer on the White Sox. I look good in Sox clothing, check out that smile. They didn't win the game but it's okay, they have all season to win more.
It was a good start to the day and I was in a pretty good mood until mom took me to the doctor and they gave me 4 shots in my legs. I really didn't like that at all! So when we got home she let me relax in front of the tv, but wouldn't let me turn it on.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My first St. Patrick's Day was pretty fun. They dressed me in all green which I thought was a little over the top. I didn't get to eat any of grandma's famous corned beef, maybe next year.

I have figured out that I don't have to be cranky all the time. It's fun to be in a good mood too.

Grandma made me dance the other night. I had fun but I kept a straight face. Mom says I'm going to be good at poker. I don't get it...

Road Trip

Mom and Grandma took me on my first road trip. We went to Kentucky for Desiree and Jeff's wedding! They dressed me up all fancy so I could look respectable next to this pretty lady. I wasn't very comfortable though. Those clothes were itchy.

I also went in a pool! It was cold. I think I'll like it better in the summer.

On the way home we stopped and mom started teaching me how to climb trees. I think I'm going to like that once I'm a little older.

Party Time!

They threw a big party for me after I was born and I am so special that mom's cousins from DC and Houston flew in just to see me! My cousin Lily already wants to play. Soon Lily, soon!
I can get pretty cranky sometimes. But I'm starting to outgrow it a little. I'm just testing my mom really, but don't tell her that!
Here I am celebrating Lily's 1st birthday. I was jealous of her cake.
Now I just have to figure out how to control these hands so I'm not hitting myself in the face anymore!

It's been quite a journey, but I'm here! January 15th 2007 at 9:46 pm is when I saw the light, literally. It's bright out here. I came out big and I've been growing like crazy ever since. (I like to eat). Here are my mom and dad. They seem to like me. I'm a little unsure of how this body works so it's a good thing I have them around.
